Ring Watches.

Hey Guys,
Today i want to talk about watch rings. I'm sure you all have seen them around, they are medium size rings with watches built in to them. They come in all shapes and sizes and i think are for all ages up to 30's. I don't think they suit really old people but i would recommend purchasing one for crazy outfits for fancy dress parties.

I purchased my first watch ring the flower one around two years ago in a end of season sale at new look and i loved it. I wore it alot and always got good comments from everyone. I purchased the other two within the last 3 months both from primark. The white one was in the sale for £2 and i think the orange/coral colour was bought for £2.50. I love these watches for summer as they make a statement to an outfit and also in summer when you get a tan and end up with a white mark where your watch was it looks a bit silly.
Ignore how horrible this picture is but as you can see the ring allow makes a good statement to an outfit:

So i know this was a short and sweet blog but i wanted to share with you my fashion idea.

Nail Haul.

Hey Guys,
Sorry it has been awhile just been a busy bee for once. I was planning on doing a Ebay haul but i ended up purchasing quite alot of nail items so i have changed this to a nail haul. If you would like me to review any of the products mentioned i will do so.
Ebay Stuff:
I purchased for £1, a pack of cut fimo's there are 50 random fimos within this packet.

For £2 i purchased 100 fimos, which are hearts, cakes and bows. the below pictures shows the different ones i got qith in this pack. I do have a lot of the same but i get to use them al the time now.
I also purchased for £1 50 fruit fimos. I bought these for summer and didn't get to use them as it hasn't been very sunny in England. I will be purchasing christmas and halloween ones too.

I bought from ebay for £2.49 two of the tubs to hold my fimos in ad it was buy two and get a third one free.

I have cut up my cake fimos and have put them in the tub. As you can see i have over a 1000 fimos.
I have my fruit fimos to cut up and all my bows and hearts but i will do them really soon. I actually enjoyed cutting them is was very calming.

I bought for £1 alot of mini rhinestones. The thing i don't like about bying them like this is you can never tell what colours you are choosing/picking up as they all look rainbow as they reflect off each other. :(
For £1 i bought these 12 little tubs of rhinestones they are slightly bigger than the pack and they have there own little tubs also which i like.

My wheel was £2 these are also rhinestones but they are really big. think i will use them in the middle of flowers or stuff. My bows were£0.99 for 30 black bows. I have been after these £d arts for awhile and when i saw how cheap they were on Ebay i had to buy some.

Last thing on my Ebay haul list was my dotting tools. These are 5 double ended dotting tools. None are the same size and i actually bought these are nail art pens are expensive when if i had these i can use normal nail varnish.
Shop Haul:
These two polishes were bought from a shop in England called, Bodyare they were 99p each and i only bought them because i have hardly any glitter nail varnish and you can't moan at the price.
I was naughty and bought more Barrym polish. My boyfriend put me on a ban till my birthday but i couldn't resist,(he's on a training course so shhhhh don;'t tell him).
I love Sally Hansen polish. It helped me grow my nails and i don't know where i would be without it. I ue this on it's own, as a base or even top coat. This was £3.65 from Superdrug it had a £1 off.

I actually purchased these glitters from a shop called poundland they were in the arts part but i thought they looked fine enought to use as nail glitter. I love the colours.
Because of my latest purchases i have had to move my nail polishes into a old shoe box and now a,l my nail art stuff is where these were. As you can see my collection is ever growing. I prefer having them this way as i can see what colour is what.
I will try to get back to normal posting as much as i can, i'm not house or baby sitting for awhile hehe. See you soon.

sorry!

Hey Guys,
I'm really sorry i haven't been blogging as much as i would like, but i was house sitting and i had some drafts on here but then they all ran out nd i couldn't get to a computer to write any good blogs. Then i have been babysitting all week so i still haven't had chance to pop online and write any blogs as it has been early mornings and late nights (tired laura).
Hopefully i shall be able to be back to my normal chatty self.
I was going to write an Ebay haul, but this has ended up becoming a nail haul. As i was given a little cash for chores and such and i purchased quite a few nail items. So that will be the next blog i write, be warned it will be very long.

My top 5 Books

Hey guys,
Today i thought i would take to you about  books i would Recommend to everyone to read. I have thought long and hard which books i would recommend and came up with my top five books. There is a bit of everything in my selection, just no si-fi as i have never really been into si-fi.
I would like to start by saying these are all my own opinions, if you have a few favorite books write it in a comment below and i will try and read the books.
As a child, at the school i went to, we had to read out loud to teachers and parents and the b etter you were at reading the quicker you would get to a free reader, which means you can choose what books you read, when you read them and you had a choice if you wanted to read them to parents and teachers. I was the first one in my year at school to become a free reader, and the other kids took awhile longer than myself, i have always been a book worm and probably will be till i die, i love reading. I thinkyou learn so much from reading and you created a brilliant imagination. One day i will hopefully have my own book out or maybe even a mini series.
My Top 5 Books:
1) Ghost girl By Torey Hayden.
I love true stories and stories of damaged people, i'm not sick in the head i find them very inspirational. You tend to look at what is good in your life instead of the bad once you begin to read these stories and they turned me into a better person. You can purchase this book from Waterstones £6.99. Synopsis: A stunning and poignant account of an extraordinary teacher's determination from the author of the #1 Sunday Times bestsellers The Tiger's Child and One Child. Jadie never spoke, never laughed, never cried. She spent every waking hour locked in her own private world of shadows. But nothing in Torey Hayden's experience had prepared her for the nightmare Jadie revealed to her when finally persuaded to break her self-imposed silence. It was a story too painful, too horrific for Hayden's professional colleagues to acknowledge. But Torey Hayden could not close her ears! or her heart. A little girl was trapped in a living hell of unspeakable memories. And it would take every ounce of courage, compassion, and love that one remarkable teacher possessed to rid the "Ghost Girl" of the malevolent spirits that haunted her
2)The book or tomorrow by Cecelia ahern.
This story was one i didn't think i would like all that much and when i started reading i couldn't put the book down. From cover to cover you will be sucked in and it is easy to read. You can purchase this also from Waterstones for £7.99. Synopsis: Lose yourself in the magical and mesmerising story from Cecelia Ahern of how tomorrow can change what happens today. Sometimes tomorrow has to start today! Tamara Goodwin has always lived in the here and now, never giving a second thought to tomorrow. Until a travelling library arrives in her tiny village, bringing with it a mysterious, large leather-bound book locked with a gold clasp and padlock. What she discovers within the pages takes her breath away and shakes her work to its core.
3) Sister By Rosamund Lupton.
This book touched my heart, as at the time i was have massive family problems(a personal matter) and this books stuck out like a sore thumb in the shop as its cover was beautiful black and white except for the word sister in bright red, they say never judge a book by its cover but that day i did. You will love this story from cover to cover it's a warming tale, that helped me through my troubles. You can purchase this from Waterstones for £7.99. Synopsis: Nothing can break the bond between sisters ...When Beatrice gets a frantic call in the middle of Sunday lunch to say that her younger sister, Tess, is missing, she boards the first flight home to London. But as she learns about the circumstances surrounding her sister's disappearance, she is stunned to discover how little she actually knows of her sister's life - and unprepared for the terrifying truths she must now face. The police, Beatrice's fiance and even their mother accept they have lost Tess but Beatrice refuses to give up on her. So she embarks on a dangerous journey to discover the truth, no matter the cost.
4) Laura's Handmade life By Amanda Addison.
I loved this book, it's a great title too hehe. Like the others this is an inspirational story, as when your world has been turned upside down you can always put it back together again. I have recommended this book to a few people already and they also loved this book. you can purchase this book from Waterstones for £6.99. Synopsis:
Laura Lovegrove is leaving behind her seamless life in London. Architect husband Adi has been relocated to rural Norfolk, a far cry from ultra-urban Ealing. Though Laura knew village life would be different, she didn't foresee a pokey cottage, nosey neighbours, errant poodles, and even an ex turning up. Chris had been her big love at art college and seeing him again is utterly confusing. Is she really so different from the impulsive student who once trawled charity shops for vintage treasures? When a fire all but destroys Laura's collection of vintage clothes, she's heartbroken. And seriously lacking in outfits. But, salvaging what she can, Laura makes do and mends - sewing purses, bags, even dog leads (which should solve the poodle problem). Soon, she's inundated with orders. But Adi is becoming more and more distant; it's like there's something he's not telling her. Can Laura make a stitch in time and pull her family back together again?
5) The boy in the stripped pyjamas by John Boyne.
This book was actually recommeneded to me by a family member and since i have raved about this book. It is another inspirational story. I would have liked it if it was a bigger story as i read this within a day. You can purchase thie from Waterstones for £6.99. Synopsis: Lines may divide us, but hope will unite us ...Nine-year-old Bruno knows nothing of the Final Solution and the Holocaust. He is oblivious to the appalling cruelties being inflicted on the people of Europe by his country. All he knows is that he has been moved from a comfortable home in Berlin to a house in a desolate area where there is nothing to do and no one to play with. Until he meets Shmuel, a boy who lives a strange parallel existence on the other side of the adjoining wire fence and who, like the other people there, wears a uniform of striped pyjamas. Bruno's friendship with Shmuel will take him from innocence to revelation. And in exploring what he is unwittingly a part of, he will inevitably become subsumed by the terrible process.

I would recommend for those who, don't want to pay alot of money for a book they may or may not like, sign up to a library as it is free unless you keep a book for too long and if you do enjoy the book you can always go a purchse it for yourself. I would also recommend if you are a book worm like myself sign up to Readers Digest. I hope you find time to read these great books and leave a comment below with your favorite books also. I will be back shortly with my top 5 series of books.

Barrym Chameleon Nail Review.

Hey guys,
Today i thought i would give you a review on the Barrym Chameleon nail polish. I bought this as soon as it came out, so i could demo and review it as soon as possible. I only purchased one polish as i wasn't sure how well this would work for myself.

I purchased this from Superdrug for £3.99, but i know you also purchase it from Boots and from the Barrym Site.
The packaging is like all the other nail paints from Barrym, but if you look at the lid of the polsih you will see the two colours the polish will be. With this polish i purchased the main colour was blue and when you apply a top coat it turns to a purpley pink colour. There are three polishes to choose from, blue, purple and pink.
I think that if you are a beginner of nail art and you just got the basics to purchase one of these polishes as they are great for that sort of thing.
You can keep it the nice blue colour on it's own or add a pop of colour to your nail with a design using a top coat. I will add you don't have to purchase the Barrym Top coat for this to work any top coat will work as long it is clear so you can see the colour change.

As you can see from the pictures i tested out what kind of patterns you could use with this polish, also if more top coat darkens the colour. I found it looked good with the dots and as a french tip, with the other patterns i find that with a pop of other colour, glitter or rhinestones it would work. There are so many way to wear this polish and it's just thinking and testing it out, but i only showed a few for the blog. I would like to purchase more colours as i think the pink one looks rather pretty. As i said above i would reccomend to nail art beginners as it is simple and easy and you can create so much with one polish and a top coat.
I hope you enjoyed this quick nail polish review and i will be back soon with more blog posts. Feel free to leave a comment with your views.

Polytar.

Hey Guys,
Today i would like to talk about a product that has been in my family since i can remember and i have recommended to alot of people and they have also loved it. If you have a Dry Itchy scalp, Dandruff, Eczema, Psoriasis or even just a build up of skin cells on your scalp thi is the product for you. My mother has always has Eczema on her head and when she is stressed it gets really bad, she went to the doctors and they prescribed something called Polytar and it works wonders. I have used it, my sister has and obviousily my mother has and all of us love it.
It doesn't come in a pretty package or haver girly colours and doesn't look all that good but trust me it's great. Just like shampoo you apply onto wet hair, massage and lather up and rinse out simple. I would recommend if you don't like the smell of this product to use Polytar and then your normal shampoo which is what i do, the smell to me reminds me of my childhood when my mother used to use this all the time but i don't like the smell on my hair. You can ask your doctor for some of this or you can pruchase it off Ebay or Amazon, also most Pharmacies should stock this but most time is out of stock due to the lack of people that know about this product. The price of Polytar ranges from£4 to £6, but i will say if you are thinking it is too expensive, if you use this once a week and only use once each time you wash your hair, it is worth every penny, if you plan to use it all the time i would recommend asking your doctors for some to see if you can get it free.
Hot his product works: The active ingredient in the products, Tar blend, is a combination of ingredients which include: pine tar, cade oil, coal tar solution, arachis oil and an extract of coal tar. Tars reduce itch and act as mild antiseptics. They also act as keratolytics. Keratin is a protein that forms part of the skin structure and can cause excessive thickening in psoriatic conditions. Keratolytic agents break down keratin and therefore help to reduce excessive thickening hardening and scaling of the skin. The Polytar range includes medicated shampoos to treat scalp disorders such as: dandruff, pruritus (itch), psoriasis and an inflammatory skin conditions known as Seborrhoeic Dermatitis in which there is inflammation and flaking of the skin. If you have itchy skin you can aplly Polytar into the bath and bathe in it too.
I would recommend this to anyone with itchy skin, scalp or even people with dandruff. I find that when i have product build up on my hair and it starts to itch if i use polytar and shampoo this works wonders on my scalp.
Have you ever heard of Polytar? Are you going to give it a try? Feel free to leave a comment believe and i will get back to you.

down day

Hey guys,
Todays post is a bit late night and is a bit of a deep blog post. You know when you have a down day? Where all the little things really get to you? Today that was the kind of day I had. My partner is going away for two weeks for training for wotk and last time he went I missed him so much and I cried at least once a day for him as he is my world and because of him going away again I guess I feel a little lost. I tried to live life the "right" way by getting a career first but yet im still jobless and stick living at home. Im 20 in five weeks but I feel as if I am 19 going on 30, not to brag but im mature for my age and I guess I feel I have don't things the wrong way in life. It's a mid life crisis, its just a crappy day with no one who understands.
Sorry this post was a bit different and I know moat people won't have likes it but if it gets things off your chest then you always feel better afterwards
I'll be back with a normal post shortly.

How to make nail art stickers.

Hey guys,
Today i thought i would share with you a easy way to make nail art for you nails. I have never been brilliant with art, i can do stickmen and hearts and that is about it and i find that nail art it too intense at times and trying paint with my left hand as i a right handed person very difficult, but i have a cheat way. You don't need to be brillaint at art, but it does help, it helps with painting with the hand you don't write with and it's quite fun. I would recommend you do this either the night before you plan to stick them on your nails or give them a good hour or two to dry.
All you need for this is a few nail polishes(or all of your collection), Either toothpicks, nail art pens or dotting tools, a plastic wallet what you have spare and nail polish remover nd cotton buds just incase you make a mistake.
Make sure the plastic wallet hasn't got any lumps or bumps in it or you will find you stickers will stick to the grooves. Start drawing little pictures, dots, hearts, smileys or anything onto the plastic wallet. Remeber if you want  design for each nail do at least ten and a few spare just incase. I went across row by row, to make sure i had at least ten stickers per design. Some people only use this techniques for one nail art per time, but i thought i would fill my plastic wallet with all sorts to save time.
As you can see my drawings aren't perfect and i did a little bit of everything, from winter stickers, halloween, bows, words, fruit, clouds, sun, kisses, cookies, cupcakes...etc. You will be surprised how easy it is. If it is your first time and you are like me (not a good artist) start with easy things like i did and build your choice up. Once you have done all the stickers you want leave to dry on a flat surface. I left mine over night.

The next day i painted my nails a light blue colour and waited for it to be touch dry. Then with a pair if tweezers i slowly and gently peeled off a clooud from my plastic wallet and applied it on to my nailand pressed it down lightly. On the bottom cloud i tried to create a few bumps to make it look 3D, but sliding the sticks together slightly on the nail and i think it worked out pretty well. Once you are happy with the nail apply a top coat and you are done. Don't be afraid to test out different designs.

I hope you enjoyed this mini tutorial, i know this will help everyone with their nail art diasters, like i had. I wish someone had told me this idea a few years ago. Feel free to link a blog where you used this idea and i will be sure to check it out. What do you think?

Dry Shampoo Review.

Hey Guys,
Today i thought i would talk about dry shampoos. I have loved these for a good few years and would recommend these to anyone. You can purchase dry shampoos from any shop that sells hair products. Some places are cheaper than others. Here is the Batiste site.
Batiste is a well know brand for their dry shampoos, and i believe they have around 13 different types. They have three for coloured hair, for blonde, medium browns and dark brown/black, these revitalise your hair and add a pop of colour to the hair aswell. They have xxl volume which creates volume as well as take the greaseyness from the hair. Tropical for the summer which has a tropical sent. Gold Shimmer which adds a slight shimmer to the hair, i would recommend using this for a night out. Original which just refreshes the hair. Fresh which is a unisex dry shampoo, but i would recommend it is more for the men than woman. Brit, which i don't think is anything special, i think it was bought out for Olympics and Jubilee. Blush, which is my favorite and the one i have in the picture, this refreshes the hair and add a nice subtle scent to the hair. Wild, this is my favorite packaging as it is leopard print!, this refreshes the hair and adds a oriental scent to the hair. Cherry, is one i have yet to try, this refreshes the hair and adds a cherry scent also, i wouldnt recommend for people that don't like cherries thought hehe. Lace, which is also a pretty packaging, this a vintage dry shampoo it also refreshes the hair. Blush is my favorite as i love the scnet, if you have never tried a dry shampoo before go for the original to see if you like the way they work.
How to use:
Spray the dry shampoo onto the roots only, but keep the nozzle 30cm away from the roots, massga ewith fingers tips and then style as normal. Lauras tip: Don't spray to close and instead of massaging with fingers use a brush or comb.
I give the dry shampoos a 5 out of 5, they are good for when you are in a rush, good for the money and have even minitures for when your on holiday.
I hope you enjoyd this mini review. There wasn't much else i could say other than what i have, any questiosn don't be afraid to ask

Mwahh xx

Disclaimer: Product was purchased by myself, i have not been sponsored to write this blog and all opinions are my own. I have taken imformation from the Batiste site, but have linked to the site also.

Barrym Magnetic Nails Review.

Hey Guys,
I thought today i would give you a review of Barrym magnetic nail polishes + a little demo.
As you may have read here i love Barrym For it's Nail paints. I think they are great quality and are a great price. I bought awhile back all the Magnetic collection and i love them, so today i thought i would tell you the in and outs and what i think.
As you can see there are four to this collection and i have them all. The reason why i purchased them all at once was because i wanted to mix and match with the magnets. They are priced at £4.99 and can be purchased from Superdrug, Boots and BarryM.
First thing you do is paint your nail as you normally would. I have done a nail for each colour. The polish is very thick compared to the normal paints as this is a special effect polish. I found thi dries very quickly. I actually like the colours like this, the purple and red are my favorite. Which one do you like?

Next you go over the polish again but this time hover the magnet over the nail. I roll it left and right to get it on the sides aswell. As you can see the patterns do come out pretty well.

The black pattern isn't         The purple is a great
as good as the others          colour and the pattern
but i found doing two          really stands out.
coats of magnet it
works better.

The red is quite                 The blue colour is also
bright and i think                bright and the pattern is
it works well as colour       good for the olympics at
on it's own.                        the moment as it
                                         reminds me of the
                                         England Flag.

I would reccomend these for people beginning on nail art, as they give a little twist to the normal nail polish and i have had soooo many compliments on how they look and some people thought i had done the pattern myself. Have you tried these polishes? What do you think?
